We’re looking for a strategic and dynamic leader to shape sector‑leading approaches to student engagement and communications at the University of Southampton. Based within the Student Experience Directorate, you will lead a talented team that ensures students are well‑informed, feel a strong sense of belonging, and are empowered to co‑create their experience from enrolment to graduation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of multi‑channel student engagement campaigns across the full student lifecycle.
- Champion co‑design and student voice, embedding student feedback into institutional decision‑making.
- Ensure communications are clear, inclusive, accessible, and aligned to the University’s strategic priorities.
- Use data, insight, and analytics to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, Faculties and Professional Services to deliver joined‑up, student‑centred outcomes.
- Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing team focused on innovation, collaboration and excellence.
