Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton is the UK’s top School integrating Computer Science, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering. You will assist in the day-to-day running of the School\’s Stores, providing an effective and efficient service for physical goods received in the School. Responsibilities include managing internal purchase orders, receipt and processing of inbound goods, preparing delivered items for redirection within the school, and taking responsibility for all Stores functions in the absence of the Stores Manager.

You should have practical knowledge and experience working in a stores environment or a relevant technical/administrative role, acting as the primary contact for staff and students regarding deliveries. Practical knowledge may be gained through work experience, formal qualifications such as GCSEs, A Levels, apprenticeships, or NVQs at Level 2 or 3.

You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision, and strong administrative skills. Enthusiasm, proactivity, and self-motivation are essential.
