Overview: The Deputy will report directly to the Academy Director and will be responsible for managing a team of cyber trainers and overseeing all professional, operational and technical training aspects at the academy, including Capture the Flag (CTF) programs, courses (blue/red cyber focused), and other practical training activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the academy's training and course delivery.
  • Directly manage a team of trainers, ensuring professional development, effective teaching, and alignment with program objectives.
  • Organise and oversee technical training activities, including Capture the Flag (CTF) events, practical labs and hands‐on exercises, focusing on red and blue cybersecurity.
  • Develop, implement and assess the technical curriculum to ensure it aligns with industry and military requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Academy Manager to ensure smooth programme operations and contribute to strategic decision‐making.
  • Ensure the academic quality of all courses and training programmes, adjusting and improving them as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Cyber Security or a closely related field.
  • Extensive experience in cyber security training, with a strong technical background.
  • Proven leadership and experience managing academic or technical teams, preferably in a military or technical setting.
