The Deputy will report directly to the Academy Director and will be responsible for managing a team of cyber trainers and overseeing all professional, operational and technical training aspects at the academy, including Capture the Flag (CTF) programs, courses (blue/red cyber focused), and other practical training activities. A key part of the role will also involve delivering training directly when required—acting as an instructor/facilitator for courses, labs, and workshops, and supporting delivery during peak periods or specialist modules.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the academy's training and course delivery.
- Directly manage a team of trainers, ensuring professional development, effective teaching, and alignment with program objectives.
- Organize and oversee technical training activities, including Capture the Flag (CTF) events, practical labs, and hands-on exercises, focusing on red and blue cybersecurity.
- Develop, implement, and assess the technical curriculum to ensure it aligns with industry and military requirements.
- Collaborate with the Academy Manager to ensure smooth program operations and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the academic quality of all courses and training programs, adjusting and improving them as needed.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Cyber Security or a closely related field.
- Extensive experience in cyber security training, with a strong technical background.
- Proven leadership and experience managing academic or technical teams, preferably in a military or technical setting.
- Fluent English.
