The Opportunity
We are partnering with a fast growing cyber security consultancy at an exciting scale-up stage. The business delivers a range of cyber security services including offensive testing, compliance, and managed security. The Role
This is a high energy, front-line business development role focused on winning new clients and driving revenue growth. It suits someone who enjoys networking, meeting people face to face, and actively converting opportunities rather than waiting for inbound leads.
You will be responsible for selling a portfolio of core cyber security services, including:
- Penetration Testing
- PCI DSS Compliance
- Managed Security Services
Experience in at least two of the above areas is essential to be effective quickly. You will work closely with senior leadership and the wider sales and technical teams, playing a key role in shaping growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities proactively
- Attend industry networking events, conferences, and meetups, including evenings
- Respond to inbound leads and meet prospects in person
- Build strong relationships with CISOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical teams to produce tailored proposals
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline forecasts
Proven background in business development or sales within cyber security or IT services
Hands-on experience selling at least two relevant cyber security services
Strong networking and relationship building capability
Highly proactive, self-motivated, and results focused
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong CRM discipline, ideally HubSpot or Salesforce
Willingness to travel and attend evening events regularly
