As a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of technology, customer engagement, and revenue generation. You’ll play a pivotal role in translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value, partnering closely with sales to win new customers and shape long-term solutions. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where your input directly influences deal success and product direction.
Key Responsibilities- Support the full sales lifecycle: discovery → solution design → close
- Lead technical workshops, demos, and proof-of-concepts
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers
- Translate requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions
- Design architectures across networking, security, and infrastructure environments
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early
- Work closely with Product & Engineering to influence roadmap direction
- Support RFPs, RFIs, and technical due diligence processes
- Ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery
- Contribute to demo environments and technical collateral
- Stay ahead of cybersecurity, networking, and cloud trends
- Continuously improve pre-sales processes in a scaling business
- Proven background as a Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant
- Strong knowledge of networking, network security, and infrastructure
- Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE
- Ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and demos
- Commercial mindset—able to link technical solutions to business outcomes
- Experience in cloud, SaaS, APIs, or distributed systems
- Exposure to enterprise customers and complex sales cycles
- Understanding of encryption, PKI, or emerging security technologies
- Experience responding to RFPs and technical evaluations
