Cyber Insurance Frontier is seeking a Head of Partnerships to build and own the commercial engine for the cyber insurance industry's year-round leadership community. This is an opportunity to join a founding team at the ground floor, selling high-ticket sponsorship and membership packages to C-suite buyers at insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and cyber security vendors. You'll help us shape how we price and package the product, and lay the foundation for a scalable commercial operation. This position reports directly to the founders and carries a clear path to commercial leadership as the business scales.
Why This Role Matters
Cyber insurance is a $20B+ market projected to triple by 2030. Cyber Insurance Frontier is building that community through plenary meetings, boardroom workshops, premium research, podcasts, and digital media. The product is live, sponsors are inbound, and the founding team brings 25+ years in insurance and 10+ years scaling B2B media businesses, including platforms acquired for 8 figures. What's missing is the commercial engine to turn demand into revenue at scale. This is your opportunity to build that engine from day one, with a direct line to the founders and the upside that comes with being the first sales hire in a business designed for scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation & Pipeline Ownership: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through pitch, close, and renewal. Build and manage a pipeline of high-ticket opportunities. Educate C-suite buyers on the value of year-round community access versus one-off conferences.
- Commercial Strategy & Pricing: Refine and test pricing models across annual, multi-year, SME, and enterprise tiers. Shape how sponsorship and membership packages are structured to maximise value for both clients and the business. Feed commercial insights back to the team to inform product development and future vertical launches.
- Market Representation: Be the commercial face of Cyber Insurance Frontier at plenary meetings, boardroom workshops, and community events. Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across the cyber insurance ecosystem. Represent the brand with credibility in rooms full of industry leaders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in B2B sales with a focus on sponsorship, media, events, or membership models with a track record of closing high-ticket deals.
- Experience selling to senior buyers in conservative, regulated industries such as insurance, finance, or energy.
- Strong commercial instincts with the ability to refine pricing, packaging, and positioning based on market feedback.
- Comfort operating in an early-stage environment without a rigid playbook or established processes.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with a natural ability to earn trust from C-suite decision-makers.
- Familiarity with the insurance, cyber security, or B2B media landscape preferred but not required.
Key Performance Indicators
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Year-one revenue closed
- Pipeline value and conversion rates
- Number of new memberships and sponsorships signed
- Client retention and renewal rates
Ideal Candidate Profile
You're a closer who thrives on building from zero. You're equally comfortable on a cold call as you are presenting to a room of insurance executives. You combine commercial sharpness with genuine curiosity about the industries you sell into, and you build relationships that last beyond the contract signature. You want ownership, not a territory carved out for you — and you're motivated by the chance to shape a business, not just hit a number.
Compensation
Equity: standard 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff. Bonus for surpassing year-one revenue target. Hybrid working: 4 days in office (London), 1 remote.
