We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the architectural direction of a major transformation programme within the Energy sector. Based in Aberdeen, you will shape secure, scalable and strategically aligned solutions, with an emphasis on environments typical of Oil & Gas Operators.
Architecture Definition & Governance
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams based on business functions and portfolios
- Ensure enterprise architecture standards and Cyber Security controls are embedded in all designs
- Develop application solution designs, including end-to-end application architecture, infrastructure components, data flows, APIs and integrations
- Support and guide applications and infrastructure workstreams post-design to maintain alignment with approved architectures
- Strong architecture experience across on-premise infrastructure, virtualised platforms, cloud services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), database technologies and network fundamentals
- Proven ability to design integrations, interfaces and enterprise data flows
- Experience working within Oil & Gas Operator environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with PI, Energy Components or similar upstream energy systems
- Able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong facilitation, documentation and governance skills
- Collaborative, pragmatic and confident in leading cross-functional decision-making
