As a Consulting Engineer at Sword, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact technical solutions across diverse environments. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, from design through to implementation, while maintaining clear and effective communication throughout
  • Take full ownership of technical issues, ensuring thorough diagnosis and resolution
  • Deliver project engineering services, including (but not limited to) low-level design, implementation, and consultancy
  • Provide expert-level support to clients and serve as an internal escalation point for complex support incidents
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues with precision and efficiency
  • Mentor and support the development of other team members
Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of deploying at least 5 of the following in a production environment
  • Cisco Routers (and associated protocols such as EIGRP, OSPG, BGP)
  • Cisco Switches (and associated technologies such as VTP, STP, VSS)
  • Cisco Datacentre Switching (Nexus and associated technologies such as VPC, VDC)
  • Cisco Wireless, Cisco Firewalls (ASA, or Firepower)
