Here’s what the role looks like:
- As a Cyber Security Consultant at Sword Group, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients protect their digital assets and navigate the complex landscape of Cyber Security threats.
- You will provide expert advice and strategy, working closely with clients to implement robust security measures tailored to their specific needs.
- Conducting security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses in clients' security posture.
- Developing comprehensive security strategies and roadmaps that align with clients' business objectives.
- Implementing and optimizing security measures, policies, and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Cyber Security trends, threats, and technology advances.
- Collaborating with other technical teams to ensure security is integrated into all IT solutions.
- Providing training and guidance to clients and internal teams on security best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Specialised technical knowledge and experience of Cyber Security as evidenced by relevant industry qualifications (e.g. GICSP, GCIP, CISSP, CISM).
- Knowledge in Cyber Security frameworks and standards as well as a deep understanding of cyber security regulations as they apply to different sectors.
- Analysis and management of risks and Cyber Security controls. Standards and methodologies: ISO 27000, NIST, SANS CSC, etc.
- Understanding of Infrastructure, Networking and Cloud environments.
- Knowledge in Identity and Access Management.
- Knowledge in Backup Recovery technologies and installation.
- Previous experience working with or within an Incident Response team is advantageous.
- Proficient in developing and designing secure solutions and documenting security controls in a Security Design.
- An understanding of cyber security design principles to ensure solutions meet industry standards.
- An understanding of frameworks and compliance.
- The Ability to work with risk management processes and articulate the risks and benefits.
- You will be required to pass the Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Security Clearance.
