Experienced Cloud Security Architect required! My client, a leading global consultancy, is looking to hire an experienced Senior Security Cloud Architect to join their internal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- You MUST have extensive experience of creating REFERENCE ARCHITECTURE – You will create a set of baseline security reference architectures and other security architecture artefacts as required (eg, design patterns, specifications, security baselines, secure builds).
- Support the initiatives to codify the approved security patterns and reference architectures using IaC, verify their deployment via automation, and define and embed a post-deployment architectural review process.
- Support the definition of the IoT Monitoring Framework and IoT Security Pattern.
Required Skills and Experience – Technical
- A background in enterprise security architecture with experience of architecting, building, and supporting transformational enterprise-wide cloud security projects.
- Excellent technical writing skills. Proficient in developing and implementing security reference architectures and security patterns.
- Expert knowledge of cloud security architectures, DevSecOps, secure SDLC, and application security testing.
- Experienced in translating security specifications into Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of IoT security controls and experience of implementing IoT security patterns and monitoring.
- In-depth knowledge of API security, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, mobile application architectures, and serverless workloads.
- Detailed understanding of security frameworks and their practical application in mitigating risks (eg, NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks).
