The Opportunity
Cyan Subsea UK are looking for a Manufacturing QC Inspector to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our subsea manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality, integrity and compliance. This role also supports our growing capability in the manufacture of subsea concrete structures, including large-scale projects involving concrete casting, grouting scopes, steel formworks and lifting frames.

What you’ll be doing
- Perform visual, dimensional, and inspections at defined stages and final release.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Review and validate material certification, welding documentation (WPS/WPQR) and NDT records.
- Produce clear, accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Maintain full traceability of materials and inspection records throughout processes.
- Inspection and verification of concrete production Quality oversight of associated steel fabrication (formworks, lifting frames and cast-in items).
- Raise and manage non-conformances and deviations.
- Work closely with Project Teams, HSEQ and Workshop personnel to prevent defects before they happen and maintain a strong quality culture.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives driving first time right delivery performance.
What you’ll bring
- Significant experience in a manufacturing or fabrication QA/QC environment (steel structures essential; concrete experience advantageous).
- Subsea/OEUK industry experience (essential).
- CSWIP Welding Inspector accreditation.
- Strong knowledge of weld procedures, NDT and dimensional inspection techniques.
- Confident interpreting complex engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 in a shop floor environment.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge, influence and advise.
