This top 100 UK law firm is looking to enhance its private capital offering with the strategic hire of a Private Wealth lawyer at salaried/fixed share partner level. The firm already has a well-established private wealth, corporate and real estate platform.
The corporate team advises on sell-side deals for businesses valued at £100m+, with a subsequent flow of work into private wealth as founders seek structuring advice post-exit. On the real estate side, the firm advises on the management and structuring of significant landed estates and associated vehicles. The private wealth team is particularly strong in advising multi-generational wealth and landed estates.
This role is at the more corporate and family office end of the market: acting for entrepreneurial clients, business owners and family offices, particularly from a trusts and structuring perspective. The firm is keen to bring in someone who can work with colleagues from across different teams and help package a compelling proposition for these high-value clients.
This role would suit a Senior Associate, Legal Director or Junior Partner currently practising at a well-regarded firm, ideally with exposure to £100m+ wealth. Candidates with experience advising entrepreneurs, internationally mobile clients and family offices will be of particular interest. Whilst an established following is not essential at this level, a strong intermediary network and a clear business plan will be important.
The firm offers a highly competitive and flexible pricing model, which has proven effective in winning work from larger competitors. Expectations are realistic, with sensible billing targets and a supportive environment for developing a practice. Crucially, the firm has an excellent track record of successfully integrating junior partners. The culture is notably inclusive and flexible, with genuine support for those seeking a better work/life balance, including part-time or flexible working arrangements.
This is a standout opportunity for someone looking to step into partnership with momentum, support and real long-term potential.
