A good law firm client of ours is keen to talk to generalist, senior corporate lawyers who have an interest in developing their energy sector focus. The work this firm does is complex and bespoke so there is an absolute necessity for someone with strong technical skills and a breadth of corporate/commercial expertise – which is more important than deep sector experience.
This energy team has a unique position in the market, has been very successful in winning work and raising profile, so work is flooding in. Accordingly, there is not a particularly strong requirement for a 'book', although that will always help. There is plenty of work to be done internally.
The team will consider existing partners, those on the cusp of partnership within private practice and also in-house lawyers who are in this space. Really lovely culture at this firm and energetic, passionate people.
