A close client of ours in the Thames Valley region are seeking an England & Wales qualified real estate lawyer of circa. 4-5PQE up to 7PQE max to support the development, construction, operation and refinancing of a portfolio of renewable energy projects across the UK. The role sits within a small, commercial in-house legal team reporting into the General Counsel.
The role will involve:
- 80% on land and property matters for solar, storage and associated infrastructure, working closely with development, construction, asset management and finance teams.
- For the remaining 20%, a mix of construction, commercial, PPA, corporate etc.
At its core, the role will involve drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of real estate matters including, but not limited to:
- Cable and Grid Easements
- Advising development teams on land risk, title strategy and structuring
