The firm has a clear strategy for growth to 2030, which has created an exceptional opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join the firm as its first General Counsel in a strategic leadership role within the senior management team. You will be supported by a number of direct reports and will work closely with the Senior and Managing Partners and risk and operational groups within the firm as a key member of the firm’s senior leadership team. In this broad strategic role, responsibilities will include supporting the partnership office on a range of issues, risk management, compliance, working for the LLP on a variety of commercial and legal issues, conflicts and ethics, and AML.

The firm is looking for someone with at least 10 years’ post-qualification experience, particularly in areas of corporate, commercial, risk management and regulatory compliance. The role will ideally suit someone in a similar role with another leading law firm with an in-depth knowledge of and expertise in the regulatory environment in which law firms operate.
