Corporate / M&A Partner – International Firm Our international law firm client continues to grow in London, with a particular focus on its transactional teams. The firm is now seeking an additional corporate partner who has a focus that accords with its core sectors, being real estate, FS, and Insurance. The team would like to speak to existing partners with a City background who are familiar with mid-cap corporate transactional work, whether this be for public or private companies. Ideally, you will have an established network in your own market and a growing profile, and some confidence that your strongest client relationships will, in time, follow you to a new firm. There is definitely capacity for further growth within the London team, so this is an ideal time to join as the business continues to gather momentum. Given the breadth of practices within the firm, there is plenty of scope for cross-selling internally and a brand recognition (and pricing flexibility) that should facilitate attracting new clients. The firm is increasingly profitable with both turnover and PEP rising in each of the last 5 years, and it has a structure in place to effectively onboard laterals, providing support and associate resources to enable partners to bed in quickly. With a highly regarded cohort of existing corporate lawyers and the ability to attract excellent laterals at all levels, the department can provide a strong platform for ambitious corporate partners.
