Chief Risk Officer - Law firm in London

And with an experienced central team driving strategic growth, the group continues to expand.The group is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to join the central management team and help deliver on this vision. The successful role holder will provide executive leadership of risk, regulatory compliance, governance and professional standards across the businesses. The role will set the risk strategy, establish an effective enterprise risk management framework and lead the central Professional Standards function, enabling the Group and its firms to grow safely, sustainably and in the best interests of clients. The postholder will be COLP and MLCO to the regional firms.The role requires a senior legal risk and compliance leader who has a broad range of experience and knowledge across business acceptance, financial crime, professional indemnity insurance and SRA regulation. You must be able to demonstrate a track record of senior leadership in risk and compliance in a law firm and ideally will have held the role of COLP previously.In order to fulfil the requirements of the role you MUST be a solicitor in England & Wales and be capable of securing SRA approval to become the COLP to the member firms.
