CY Executive Resourcing are actively seeking an interim Finance Manager on behalf of our Housing Association client for an initial three-month fixed term contract.

As Finance Manager you will work closely with Directors and Service Managers, providing insight, challenge, and support to help the organisation achieve its strategic aims.

You will play a key part in shaping budgets, driving value for money, and making sure financial decisions are clear and meaningful to both finance and nonfinance colleagues.

Working alongside your finance colleagues, you’ll also help build financial sustainability across the organisation.

Partnering and building effective relationships with the property department to help understand what is driving their activity.

This will effectively be the repairs and maintenance teams as well as property compliance and investment capital works.

Working with the Senior Finance Manager to deliver high quality monthly management accounts.

Providing commentary and variance analysis to inform decision making for operational budget holder holders, managers and directors.

Assisting Budget Holders with scenario planning, and financial modelling.

An experienced finance professional who is driven to improve services and self-motivated.

A part or qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA) with experience of writing commentary explaining key variances.

An effective communicator who can provide financial advice and guidance at all levels.

Strong excel skills.

Housing Sector experience preferred, or public sector, but not essential for exceptional candidates.

Initial three-month contract with the opportunity to extend.

Hybrid working, 1-2 days per week on site.
