We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join a successful business based at their head office in Malvern on a part time basis (20-25 hours per week). This role will be client facing, so confident communication and presentation skills are essential.
Duties include:
- Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Processing invoices, income and receipts via either Sage / Xero
- Completion and submission of VAT returns
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Assisting with other accounting tasks as required
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails
Skills required:
- Good attention to detail
- Strong administrative and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, managing their own time and working to tight deadlines
- A friendly, professional manner with a proactive attitude
