Technical Sales & Service Specialist – Life Sciences (UK Region)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing biotechnology business to recruit a Technical Sales & Service Specialist for their expanding commercial team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and clinical diagnostics who is looking to step into a commercial facing position while still leveraging their technical expertise.
The Role
As Technical Sales & Service Specialist you will:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IHC products within clinical and research laboratories.
- Deliver product demonstrations, training, and presentations to customers and partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand product adoption within existing accounts.
- Collaborate closely with technical and commercial teams to communicate customer insights and contribute to product development.
- Support regulatory and compliance activities in line with industry standards.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Scientific background (BSc in Biomedical Science or related discipline).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical diagnostics or product development, ideally in IHC; or Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in IHC.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, with confidence in presenting and training.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (approx. 80%).
