p CY Partners is supporting a growing diagnostics organisation operating at the forefront of point of care testing, as they look to appoint a Senior R D Scientist into their expanding R D team. /p p br /p p This is a senior, hands on scientific role with genuine influence. You’ll play a key part in developing diagnostic products from early feasibility through to scale up and transfer into manufacturing, while also supporting and mentoring other scientists within the team. /p p br /p p The opportunity /p p br /p p You’ll be working within a collaborative, commercially focused R D environment, contributing to a diverse pipeline of diagnostic development projects for both internal product development and external partners. /p p br /p p This role suits someone who enjoys technical ownership, thrives on problem solving and wants to see their work progress beyond the lab and into real world application. /p p br /p p What you’ll be doing /p p br /p ul li Planning and leading experimental work packages to deliver technical milestones on time /li li Acting as a technical expert in lateral flow assay design and development /li li Driving improvements in assay development methods and technical approaches /li li Reviewing and approving experimental data and technical reports /li li Supporting assay development from feasibility through scale-up and manufacturing transfer /li li Working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and Project teams /li li Preparing, analysing and presenting data to internal and external stakeholders /li li Writing and reviewing SOPs in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements /li li Supporting audits, supplier discussions and technical input into marketing materials /li li Coaching and supporting junior scientists and new starters /li li Taking ownership of equipment, processes and best practice within the department /li /ul p br /p p What we’re looking for /p p br /p p Essential /p p br /p ul li A relevant scientific degree /li li Strong understanding of immunoassays and diagnostic technologies /li li Proven experience planning and delivering experimental R D work /li li Strong data analysis and reporting capability /li li High attention to detail and robust documentation standards /li /ul p br /p p Desirable /p p br /p ul li A higher degree /li li Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 / ISO 9001) /li li Track record of delivering technical projects through to completion /li /ul p br /p p Why consider this role? /p p br /p ul li Exposure to innovative point of care diagnostic development /li li A senior technical role with real ownership and influence /li li Clear visibility of work progressing into manufacturing and market /li li Collaborative, forward thinking culture that values expertise and initiative /li li Opportunities to engage with customers, suppliers and external partners /li /ul p br /p p This search is being managed on a confidential basis.
