Process Chemist Permanent Location: Teesside, North East of England Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 CY Partners is proud to be representing a well established Chemical manufacturer who is seeking a motivated Process Chemist to join their team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing your expertise in chemistry to enhance process efficiency and product quality. If you are proactive and passionate about Research and Development, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: * Develop laboratory processes, methods and tests in order to measure the performance of new products and processes. * Implement, evaluate and report on experimental programmes in order to develop new products and technology platforms for the business. * Maintain laboratory instrumentation, equipment and systems so that they are safe, optimised and available for use. * Plan and implement programmes of process development, reporting results, conclusions and recommendations for further work as appropriate or as requested. Role Requirements: * Degree in Chemistry or a related field, with relevant experience. * Strong research focussed * Experience with process optimization and troubleshooting of chemical processes. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team. * Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
