This role is ideal for someone with hands-on lab experience who thrives in fast-paced, purpose-driven environments.

About the Opportunity

You’ll be part of a collaborative, mission-focused team working on one of the most urgent challenges of our time: removing CO₂ from the atmosphere. As a Lab Technician, you’ll support core R&D and operations activities – from running tests and calibrating instruments to helping maintain lab standards and stock levels. What We’re Looking For

  • HND/HNC or BSc/BEng degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
  • Prior working experience in a laboratory environment
  • Familiarity with maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a logical, hands-on mindset
  • A collaborative approach – able to work well with scientists, engineers, and managers
  • Comfortable adapting to evolving priorities in a start-up environment
  • A good understanding of lab safety practices and risk assessments

Why Join?

  • Employee Share Options – take ownership in the mission
  • 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • Office closure over Christmas
  • £500 personal development grant annually
  • Unlimited mental health support
  • Equal parental leave – 3 months
  • Monthly rewilding donation on your behalf
