CY Partners have an exciting new opportunity to join a global pharmaceutical company at their site based in Hertfordshire.

The role is an initial 12 Month contract, with scope for futher.

Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 p/a

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setting up laboratory equipment and vessels for experiments.
  • Help ship materials and equipment, and manage orders for glassware and consumables in STV DSD labs, including chemistry and oligo-related materials.
  • Map, maintain, and troubleshoot RX-10 and Hubers equipment, manage parts, and organise planned maintenance and long-term replacement planning (CapEx).
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks and reordering of Swagelok parts.
  • Oversee planned maintenance for Process Analytical Technology (PAT) tools.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols in the laboratory environment and comply with applicable Data Integrity, Quality, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate repair and servicing of STV equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in laboratory environments within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance, inventory management, and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, Data Integrity, and safety protocols in laboratory settings.
