Senior Recruitment Consultant – Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Chemicals & Pharma – Opportunities in the UK, Europe and USA

CY PARTNERS have an exciting new role with a leading player in the pharmaceutical industry. They are currently seeking a QC Analyst to join their dynamic team.

Location: County Durham, Contract Role

Base pay range: £35,000 – £43,000 (Inc potential shift pay, although this role is open for days or shifts)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute environmental monitoring activities in manufacturing areas to maintain a controlled and sterile production environment.
  • Conduct microbial identifications and support investigations related to out-of-specification results or deviations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide microbiological expertise for the development and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to microbiological testing and environmental monitoring.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and accuracy of results.
  • Develop your skills in method validation and verification studies for microbiological assays.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar environment or relevant Degree.
  • Proven experience working as a microbiologist in a pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Understanding of cGMP and other regulatory requirements related to microbiological testing.
  • Hands-on experience with microbial identification techniques.
  • Familiarity with microbiological assay validation and verification.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Aseptic technique.
