We are seeking a highly skilled Coating Specialist to join their New Product Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about coating technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise coating formulations and techniques, including excimer, UV and 2K lacquers.
- Design and implement novel water-based inks and primers, enhancing product performance and sustainability.
- Serve as a specialist in embossing techniques to create innovative textures and patterns.
- Introduce new features to surfaces, improving functionality and aligning with market trends.
- Develop and evaluate new products for various applications, ensuring swift market implementation.
- Conduct laboratory experiments to assess the properties and characteristics of films and surface coatings.
- Provide technical support to production personnel to resolve quality issues related to new and existing products.
- Assist in evaluating raw materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Material Science is essential.
- Hands-on experience in the coating industry.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
- Knowledge of new product development, process safety, and improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team; self-motivated and proactive.
