CY Partners is partnering with an established life sciences organisation seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to oversee a strategically important customer programme within a complex outsourced manufacturing environment. This is a high-profile appointment, taking ownership of one of the organisation's key customer relationships and ensuring successful delivery across a network of contract manufacturers, suppliers and specialist partners.
The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination between the customer, internal stakeholders and external delivery partners, maintaining programme momentum, managing risk and ensuring commitments are delivered on time and to the required quality standards. Operating within a highly regulated environment, this role requires someone who can quickly build credibility with customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders while bringing structure and clarity to complex programmes. The role operates on a remote basis with occasional travel to site.
The Role
- Lead delivery of a major customer programme within a regulated life sciences environment
- Act as the primary customer facing point of contact, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Coordinate activities across multiple external suppliers, manufacturing partners and service providers
- Ensure programme objectives, timelines, risks and dependencies are effectively managed and communicated
- Drive governance activities, reporting and programme reviews
- Manage change, escalation and issue resolution across internal and external stakeholders
- Align technical, quality, regulatory, manufacturing and commercial workstreams to achieve successful delivery
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership and customers
What They're Looking For
- Significant programme or project management experience within life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, or a CDMO environment
- Proven experience managing complex customer programmes involving multiple suppliers or outsourced partners
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience
- Comfortable operating in matrix organisations and influencing without direct authority
- Experience coordinating manufacturing, supply chain, technical and quality activities
- Ability to establish structure, governance and accountability across complex programmes
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship management skills
- Formal project or programme management qualification desirable (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, AgilePM or equivalent)
