An immediate start available for an experienced Sales Ledger / Account Assistant. This client manages high volumes of payments on a daily basis and they require someone experienced to help reconcile these payments with the bank statements.
- Compare cashbook with bank statement (4000 lines p/month). Identify timing differences, tracing errors back to source documents, explain variances clearly.
- Comfortable with numbers, big excel sheets, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sorting, and filtering transactions.
- Exporting and importing bank data.
- Flexible, team player, handles pressure and deadlines.
- Handle queries.
- Basic accounting knowledge, financial literacy.
- Answer the phone and take payments over the phone.
- Own transport.
- Attention to detail.
- The “Can do” attitude. Agile to fit in where is needed.
- They work with a system called Cameo.
- Deal with Elevon, PayPal, and Webpay, so any experience here would be great, however training will be provided.
