The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the management and leadership of the Finance team across our UK sites.

Main Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Managing the team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement culture.
  • Responsible for reviewing and developing solutions to maintain robust control environment including fx control, balance sheet controls.
  • Weekly/Monthly operational reporting, development of team KPIs.
  • Capital project appraisals.
  • Group budgeting, forecasts and business planning processes in partnership with key stakeholders within the business.
  • Understand and oversee the audit, statutory accounts filing and tax reporting processes.
  • Continually review and improve financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company mitigates risk whilst meeting its financial and legal obligations.
  • Commercial business partnering with non-finance stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Provide sound financial advice to the other members of the Board, as well as Senior Managers.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • SAP experience required.
  • Strategic thinking, curious, ability to implement change, and drive teams in a continuous improvement culture.
  • FMCG / Manufacturing experience, ideally in the food industry.
  • A track-record in developing and delivering effective business partnering through provision of relevant and insightful business analysis and information to key stakeholders.
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Inspirational leadership skills that drive team engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA considered).
  • 3+ years post qualification experience working in a business partnering role within a large corporate structure.
