A superb opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller, to work for an award-winning, global business. Based near Solihull, you will play a key role in ensuring large and complex projects across the region and surrounding area are carried out and completed within the financial requirements, adhering to robust financial controls. This role is critical to the financial management of a key regional area within the group, providing comprehensive financial oversight and partnering with operational management to drive sound decision-making and ensure.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all financial activities for the entity, offering valuable insights and support to management and operational teams.
- Lead the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct regular forecasting and budget reviews, analysing variances and ensuring financial goals are met.
- Ensure the accuracy of the P&L statements and maintain strong financial controls.
- Support the implementation of group directives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Maintain the integrity of accounting systems and financial data.
- Oversee all aspects of the Balance Sheet.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to provide financial advice and strategic insights.
- Background in Construction, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management or a similar project/contract-based industry.
- Experience with project or contract-based financial management.
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA — fully qualified, or nearing qualification.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to produce accurate and reliable financial information.
- A valid UK driving licence, as the role includes travel to project sites/other offices within the region.
