CY Executive Resourcing are exclusively aligned with an incredible organisation to engage a confident Financial Accountant to join their Team on a permanent and hybrid basis. As the new Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the Head of Finance and manage a small team. This role will see you play a leading role in the continued success of the organisation with a broad and interesting remit of responsibilities. Main Duties and Responsibilities Financial Accounting * Prepare and maintain accurate financial accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Year-End Accounts * Lead the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process. VAT and Payroll * Oversee VAT returns, payroll processes, and other statutory financial obligations. Team Leadership * Manage and support a small team responsible for purchase ledger, accounts receivable, and other transactional finance functions. Process Improvement * Review and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
