Our client needs an experienced financial professional with a solid understanding of both financial management and commercial / business operations. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join a dynamic team and help drive their strategic and financial planning, whilst providing robust reporting to board level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial management and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare annual organisational budgets, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Maintain accurate accounts up to trial balance, ensuring financial integrity and transparency.
  • Manage and optimise a cloud-based ERP finance system for real-time reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Support organisational planning, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Lead the tendering and contract negotiation process to ensure value for money and business alignment.
  • Apply your commercial acumen to support sustainable and profitable business operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing complex budgets and preparing statutory reports.
  • Track record of preparing annual budgets for medium to large organisations.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ideally cloud-based ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, X-Ledger).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare accounts to trial balance.
  • Experience in organisational strategy and operational planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading contract tendering and negotiations.
  • Understanding of basic commercial business operations.

Ideal candidate will be experienced in one or more of the following:
