Full Time, Devops Engineer/ Deployment / Cloud Services/Linux/CI-CD

Job Description

CXPORTAL is currently looking for Devops Engineers with a strong track record of delivering customer requirements at pace and to a high standard to join our established CXPORTAL infrastructure team base in our London office.

The successful candidates will have experience around Deployment, Debugging, Testing (TDD, BDD), Scaling and Monitoring scalable web applications as expected, using a wide variety of technologies such as Java, C#, REST, cloud services Google Cloud Platform (GCP, Azure, AWS) and SQL.

Additionally, experience working within a microservice framework.

Responsibilities

  • Inspections and carry out code and peer reviews to provide assurance of code quality against business requirements.
  • Improve and maintain the level and currency of personal and technical skills to be able to continue to provide appropriate support to the business.
  • Capable to provide full software development and configuration in their area of expertise.
  • Help to optimise delivery and understand and advocate best practice and patterns.
  • Ensure software is secure and well-tested.
  • Identify issues in production and support and operate the services build
  • Hands-on experience with administrating Microsoft Windows, Linux Operating system.
  • Pipeline CI/CD (Jenkins) Knowledge of Streaming and OTT services is preferred but not a pre requisite as is Scripting
  • Update management, log Analytics and Azure Operations Management Suite (OMS).
  • Hands on experience of Azure Scale Sets and Load balancers
  • Hands-on Experience in Azure ISO security standards
  • Hands on experience of Azure Blob storage management Experience in interfacing with Azure monitoring and Log Analytics
  • Experience of Scripting with AZ CLI, ARM Templates and Bash

Experience

  • Established skills in software configuration, engineering of java/Python /C# based solutions.
  • Hands on experience in working with RESTful APIs
  • Decent understanding of SQL database design and optimisation
  • Familiarity of modern engineering best practice and a keen interest in the latest technologies, patterns and trends
  • Established track record in iterative and incremental development
  • Proven and good track record in problem resolution & selection of technical solutions & applications
