Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Senior Business Development Manager to drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth across the mid-market and enterprise segments in the UK & I. This is a full lifecycle sales role, requiring a proven ability to manage the end-to-end sales process—from lead generation and qualification through to contract negotiation and closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in selling Microsoft-based solutions and managed services, combined with deep knowledge of the cyber security landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Win new logos and drive net-new revenue across mid-market and lower enterprise accounts.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, and contract closure.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Microsoft technologies and CWSI's managed services portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with Microsoft and other technology partners to create joint go-to-market strategies.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce CRM.
- Represent CWSI at client meetings, partner events, and industry forums.
- Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies to deliver informed recommendations to clients.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of winning net new business and consistently exceeding sales targets in direct sales roles in the mid-market or lower enterprise segments in the UK.
- Demonstrated success in complex solution selling within the Microsoft ecosystem in the UK (M365, Azure, Security & Compliance).
- Demonstrated success in selling professional and managed services.
- Strong understanding of managed services models and value propositions.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships within mid-market organizations.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
