On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Programme Governance & PMO Lead for a 6 Months contract based in London (Hybrid - 3 times per week in the office).
Purpose of the role:
As Programme Governance & PMO Lead you will join a major technology transformation programme. This is not a traditional PMO role, we're looking for someone who can analyse complex information, connect the dots across multiple workstreams, and translate data into clear, executive-level insights that support strategic decision-making.
What you'll do:
- Translate complex programme information into clear executive reporting, presentations and decision-ready management insights.
- Establish and enhance governance processes, reporting frameworks, RAID management and programme controls across multiple workstreams.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies, delivery risks and critical-path impacts, providing proactive recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings and governance forums to drive alignment, accountability and informed decision-making.
- Analyse programme data using tools such as Excel, Jira and reporting platforms to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive process optimisation initiatives, improving delivery efficiency, governance effectiveness and operational transparency.
The skills you'll need:
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership audiences.
- Proven experience within programme governance, PMO, business analysis, consulting or transformation delivery environments.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create executive-level reporting and presentations.
- Experience using Jira for delivery tracking, reporting and governance activities.
- Ability to simplify complex information and turn data into actionable recommendations and business insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience identifying process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
