CWS Jobs is recruiting 7.5T Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client in Tamworth.
You’ll work alongside a driver’s mate, completing multi-drop deliveries of furniture, white goods and other bulky household items to customers’ homes. Expected start times between 05:00am-06:00am on 8-12hr duties.
Your responsibilities:
- Safely drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle on planned delivery routes.
- Work as part of a two-person crew to unload and carry goods into customers’ properties.
- Handle heavy and bulky items safely, including deliveries involving stairs.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
- Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph and health and safety requirements.
What you’ll need:
- Valid Category C1 licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Ability to carry out regular heavy lifting safely.
- Good communication skills and a reliable approach.
- Previous multi-drop or heavy-goods home delivery experience is desirable.
What’s on offer:
- £16.02 per hour.
