Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB Medical Illustration department provides high-standard photography, video, and graphic design services. We are seeking a dedicated individual for an exciting career in Clinical Photography. Based at our main department at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, you will gain exposure to various specialties across CTMUHB, including Dermatology, Maxillofacial, Ophthalmology, ENT, Tissue Viability, Theatre, and more.
The successful candidate will undertake an 18-month training program designed to develop their knowledge and skills in clinical photography. As a trainee, you will pursue a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Photography, which requires additional hours outside of work to complete.
Your role will involve working with a team of clinical photographers to produce photographs and videos that support patient care, diagnosis, teaching, research, and publications. You will provide photographic expertise across multiple clinical specialties, using both standard and specialized techniques in various clinical environments.
Salary details: Band 5 Annex 21, 70% in Year 1 and 75% in Year 2. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract due to funding, starting on Monday 1st September 2025 and ending on Friday 26th February 2027.
