  • We are seeking a

Specialist Dietitian to join our Weight Management and Type 2 Diabetes service within Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) University Health Board, part of NHS Wales.

The service delivers care across the board through both in‑person and virtual appointments.

We provide 37.5 hours per week and support flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined caseload using evidence‑based, client‑centred principles for weight management.
  • Assess, plan, evaluate and implement dietetic interventions in specialist outpatient clinics, community care settings, community visits and educational sessions at local facilities.
  • Implement aspects of treatment plans with autonomy, taking sole responsibility for patient safety during community work.
  • Collaborate in partnership with other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with legal requirements and professional standards.
  • Develop skills and knowledge through continued personal and professional development.
  • Demonstrate professional behaviour at all times.
  • Promote and represent the department and organisation internally and externally, providing colleagues with professional advice and opinion in a professional manner.
  • Working Conditions

Travel between health board sites and community venues is essential. The role offers flexibility to balance work and life commitments.
