The role of the Capital Division is to provide a comprehensive range of support services to allow the delivery of all of the Board's capital investment activities. The post holder will work within broad occupational policies and form part of an integrated team within the Capital and Estates Directorate, and will assist the Head of Capital in the effective operation of the Capital Planning section, leading the Board through the capital planning process and delivery of all outcomes of investments to ensure that capital assets are procured and service improvements delivered, which are critical to Cwm Taf UHB.

The post holder will utilise technical knowledge and expertise to provide the full range of capital planning and project management services required by the UHB, whilst ensuring statutory compliance and with reference to all available advisory guidance. This will routinely necessitate working within challenging parameters of cost, time and quality and involve the processing of highly complex, contentious and sensitive information.
