Senior Nurse, Urgent Primary Care (111/GP Out of Hours)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Nurse for Urgent Primary Care to provide leadership, operational management, and clinical governance across Urgent Primary Care services within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. Based at Ty Elai in Williamstown, with responsibility for Urgent Primary Care services across CTM. The successful candidate will drive service improvement, workforce leadership, quality assurance, clinical governance, and resource management, ensuring services meet national standards and organisational objectives. Working closely with multidisciplinary , local authority and third sector colleagues they will promote innovation, support staff development, oversee audits and investigations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement aligned with Value Based Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to influence the future development of Urgent Primary Care services while ensuring excellent outcomes and experiences for patients and their families.,

• Be an integral part of the Urgent Primary Care clinical leadership team in the development and delivery of quality patient care and new models of Out of Hours service provision.
• Support the delivery of the unscheduled care strategy across Cwm Taf Morgannwg.
• The role will involve managing and supporting a range of clinical staff within the service (including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Urgent Care Practitioners, Nurses, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers etc.) The senior nurse will also be responsible for developing clinical practitioners for the OOHS service, providing clinical leadership, mentoring, training and audit. The post will also be expected to undertake face to face and telephone consultations with patients as part of their core role.
