We are looking for a dedicated individual seeking an exciting career in Clinical Photography. Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB Medical Illustration Department provides a high standard photography, video and graphic design service. Based at our main department at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, you will gain exposure to all aspects of clinical photography undertaking clinical photography in many specialities across CTMUHB such as Dermatology, Maxillofacial, Ophthalmology, ENT, Tissue Viability, Theatre and many more.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 10 months from start date due to funding. Anyone wishing to apply for the post as a secondment must seek approval from their Line Manager before applying. To work in a team of clinical photographers to produce clinical photographs/video to aid patient care, diagnosis, teaching, research, and publications. The post holder will provide a range of photographic knowledge and skills to support a variety of multidisciplinary teams, across a range of clinical specialties within the organisation. Working in a variety of clinical environments, the post holder will use a combination of standardised and non-standardised photographic techniques.

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn’t mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t ‘fluency’, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
