Physiotherapy Team Lead, Neuro Outpatients

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Team Lead, Neuro Outpatients to join Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

This is a fixed‑term/second‑ment post of 12 months, based at Princess of Wales Hospital and Dewi Sant Hospital, Pontypridd. The post holder will lead a team of neuro outpatient physiotherapists and support clinical and clerical staff within the physiotherapy service. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day management, recruitment, waiting‑list administration and annual appraisals of team members. The lead will exercise advanced clinical reasoning, independently manage a complex caseload and ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional. They will also take a lead role in postgraduate education, providing specialist knowledge, mentoring and coaching junior colleagues.

The successful candidate will undertake relevant research and audit, develop an advanced practice portfolio and implement best practice in line with national guidelines. This role offers an opportunity to drive an evidence‑based physiotherapy service and shape the research agenda within CTMUHB.

Welsh Skills Desirable: Being able to speak and listen at Level 3 (CEFR B2) or above is an advantage, though not essential.
