Overview
CRHT Practitioner – Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTM) supports a 24/7 Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Service for clients experiencing an acute mental health crisis in Rhondda and Taff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver crisis assessments and manage a home treatment caseload, providing comprehensive care in clients’ homes.
- Maintain robust working relationships with A&E, crisis teams, Primary Care, CHMT, police, Welsh Ambulance Service and specialist services.
- Contribute to the continuing improvement and development of the CRHT service.
Welsh Skills Desirable
Level 3 speaking and listening skills (CEFR B2) or above is considered an advantage when short‑listing.
Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 6)
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, WARRN and non‑medical prescriber training.
Skills
- Critical assessment of mental health needs
- High‑risk assessment
- Sound clinical knowledge of mental health settings
- IT literacy
- Phlabotomy trained
Experience
- Experience as a CRHT Practitioner or clinical Band 6
- DBT/CBT training

Applicants must meet the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and submit a DBS check for any previous criminal convictions.
