The Community Dental Service is seeking a motivated individual to join our team within the administration hub based at Ynyshir Surgery. This is a fast-paced department, working with a variety of stakeholders, including clinical staff, patients, and other departments. We are looking for full-time applicants.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a wide ranging portfolio of work, ranging from waiting list work, appointment management, maintaining data and a wide variety of administrative duties. You must be able to work in a busy environment and feel confident liaising with and meeting healthcare staff of all grades, as well as patients.

Desirable/Requirements

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn’t mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn’t need to have skills in Welsh, we’ll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.

Applicants will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy while providing a professional service.
