The Consultant Trainer (THORACIC) will be expected to
Deliver training at the Academy
Contribute to the leadership of training at the Academy
Provide supervision of trainees
Direct training including teaching, including image interpretation and report checking
The successful applicant will be engaged for one sessions per week at the Academy. The National Imaging Academy Wales is an innovative and developing facility that aims to enhance training capacity and support the safe integration of digital technologies across Wales.
NIAW is located near Pencoed, South Wales. The Academy provides excellent facilities, including a 100-seat lecture theatre, two workstation-based teaching classrooms, dedicated digital training suites, ultrasound and POCUS simulation facilities, and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment to support high‑quality teaching, research, and service evaluation., Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) University Health Board, part of NHS Wales, serves a large population across a diverse and beautiful region, steeped in history and heritage.
