An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated staff nurse to join our friendly, busy team. The successful applicant will be based in the Women's Health Unit in the Princess of Wales Hospital but will be expected to work at other sites within Cwm Taf University Health Board as required. This is an exciting role for the successful applicant.
The Post Holder will undertake delegated duties, with supervision and mentorship, and following a period of training and completion of core competencies.
Job Responsibilities- Undertake delegated duties under supervision and mentorship, completing training and core competencies.
- Cross-site work within Cwm Taf University Health Board, participating in the provision of high quality Women’s, Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health services as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Acquire extra skills necessary to function as an independent practitioner.
- Manage resources in the absence of senior members of staff, ensuring resources are used to optimum effect.
- Maintain standards of client care set by the department.
- Ensure practice is in line with, and reflects the requirement of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, and is based on evidence‑based practice.
- Ensure personal and professional development plans reflect the requirements of the NMC and PREP.
