As Maintenance Supervisor you will oversee the day to date running of a team of craftsmen and semi skilled staff, along with contract staff, to ensure compliance with Health Board standards, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring maintenance repairs, minor works, and planned preventative maintenance is undertaken.
  • Supervision of a multidisciplinary team of craftsmen and semi skilled staff, including contract staff where needed.
  • Provide technical advice, training, and support to team members.
  • Support the development of staff through mentoring and skills development.
  • Ensure compliance with Health Board policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage resources effectively to maintain operational efficiency and safety.
  • Have a broad practical knowledge of engineering and building practices, with the ability to work with the team to find solutions to technical challenges.
