The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The successful candidates will be part of a team of 13 junior doctors in a busy district general hospital Emergency Department (ED). You will work alongside nine middle grade doctors and eight consultants in a multi-disciplinary team including ENPs and ACPs providing front line care to an undifferentiated case mix. The successful applicant will participate in a full shift rota providing 24-hour shop floor cover. This post is fixed term for up to 6 months. A consultant led service with ample opportunity for supervision. There is direct consultant shop floor cover approximately 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The posts will have dedicated non-clinical time (20% of rota time) to develop a portfolio of your choice, ideas include:
- Educational Fellow - 6 months (with an option to progress SIM training)
- Quality Improvement Fellow - 1 year
- Ultrasound Fellow - 1 year (with a commitment to sign off level 1 competence by the end)
