We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic doctor to join the Medicine team working at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, Prince Charles Hospital and Royal Glamorgan Hospital. This post is suitable for anyone who has completed Foundation Training, or equivalent, (or is due to complete this by August 2026). The post involves working alongside a dedicated medicine multidisciplinary team including medical trainees (FY1, FY2, IMT, ACCS, SpR), nurse practitioners, and other AHPs. These posts are fixed term up to 6 months to cover Deanery vacancies and departmental changes. Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply. Responsibilities
- Speciality/GIM ward round
- To contribute to an appropriate model of care which recognises the involvement of the multi-disciplinary team, the patient and family.
- To contribute with the multi-disciplinary team in the use of referenced, evidence based guidelines, which are dated, signed and reviewed at least bi-annually or more frequently in light of new evidence.

- Work with the rest of the clinical team to support the delivery of a high quality service provided by well-trained staff within clear departmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain good communication with clinical colleagues across the Health Board, regarding the treatment of their patients, and the appropriate use of the department’s resources.
